Craig Haslam, FGPT

I have 30 years experience with the Metropolitan Police Service making me an established public speaker and event organiser with an eye for detail and a passion for success.

As a senior officer, I have led and delivered major national events including The Queen’s Birthday Parade, Royal Weddings and other State Occasions that greatly assisted my successful progression through the Professional Toastmasters’ Academy.

I played a pivotal leadership role in the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011, working with key partners such as the royal household, military, worlds media and of course the Great British public to help deliver an incredibly important event for the nation and most importantly, the happy couple.

I have taken my skills of confidence, professionalism, meticulous attention to detail and flexible & friendly approach from the policing arena into the world of Toastmaster duties that ensures every event I undertake is delivered to the highest standard possible.

I have now carried out over thirty varied events and functions as a Toastmaster since I qualified as a Fellow of The Guild of Professional Toastmasters (FGPT) in 2016. These have included weddings, civil partnerships, award ceremonies, gala dinners, masonic ladies festivals and charity fund-raisers.

I pride myself on my ability to deliver a function that meets the personal wishes of each and every client in the knowledge that every event is unique. Having recently retired from the police service, I now devote even more time to my passion for Toastmaster work and providing an exceptional service to new and repeat clients.
